Diego Maradona 1986

🔹 Childhood and Nature

Diego Armando Maradona was born on 30 October 1960 in the town of Villa Fiorito , a poor area near Buenos Aires, Argentina. He was the fifth of eight children in a poor family. His father, Diego Maradona Senior , was a factory worker and his mother, Doña Tota, was the heart of the family.

Maradona began playing soccer at the age of three and began to show signs of extraordinary talent at a young age. At the age of 8, he joined the children's team Los Cebollitas, affiliated with Argentinos Juniors . Already at the age of 10, fans were amazed by the way he could control the ball as if it were part of his body.

“I used to sleep with a ball in bed — it was my best friend.”
